Royal and regal this Peacock stands flaunting the metallic plumes. A bit of an abstract version of the real deal, but nevertheless, interesting and colorful. The original acrylic painting was completed on a 30x30 wrapped gallery canvas. I'm pretty sure this image began with 'leftover' palette paints. A planned painting, it was not, but it was fun!

Painting is a journey for me as is seeking a subject with my camera. Each blank canvas is a call to adventure. With the stroke of a brush, I embark upon a quest of self-discovery. It places me on the edge of being someone other than myself, being some place new and exciting, and often the journey leads me to places of profound inner peace.
